Androlabs appoints EffRx as commercial partner for Testavan® in Switzerland

Partnership strengthens access to testosterone replacement therapy for patients and prescribers across Switzerland.

Androlabs, the first global pharmaceutical company dedicated to men's health, announce the appointment of EffRxPharmaceuticals as its commercial partner in Switzerland for Testavan®, a testosterone replacement therapy indicated for hypogonadism in adult men.

Testavan® is already commercially available in Switzerland. Under the agreement, EffRx will lead the commercialisation and distribution of Testavan® in the country, supporting its continued availability and strengthening engagement with healthcare professionals and eligible patients.

The agreement marks an important milestone in Androlabs' European growth strategy, further strengthening the company's ambition to improve access to men's health treatments across the continent.

Testosterone deficiency remains underdiagnosed globally, with symptoms often attributed to ageing or other health conditions, potentially delaying appropriate medical assessment and treatment. As Switzerland's population continues to age, the prevalence of age-related health conditions affecting men is expected to increase, reinforcing the importance of timely diagnosis and access to appropriate treatment options.

Nicolas Vennin, co-founder of Androlabs, said, “We look forward to working with EffRx to expand access to Testavan® in Switzerland and offer greater choice to patients and healthcare professionals. This partnership represents an important step forward in our shared commitment to advancing men’s health in the country.”

Victor Papavasileiou, EVP Corporate Development at EffRx Pharmaceuticals, added: “We are pleased to partner with Androlabs to commercialise and distribute Testavan® in Switzerland. Testavan® is an important addition to our portfolio, and this agreement demonstrates our commitment to bringing patient-focused treatments to the Swiss market.”

The announcement reflects a shared commitment to increasing awareness, improving diagnosis rates and expanding access to evidence-based treatments for men across Switzerland.

At the centre of Androlabs' mission is addressing the persistent disparity in life expectancy between men and women, as men's health remains an area that has historically received less dedicated focus than many other therapeutic fields. Partnerships with organisations that share this ambition are central to delivering improved men's health outcomes across Europe.
