Androlabs enters next phase of growth with new dedicated corporate structure

Corporate reorganisation focuses the entire organisation on Androlabs supporting future product expansion, strategic partnerships and greater market access worldwide

Androlabs, the first global men’s health pharmaceutical company, has announced a major milestone in its development, with a corporate reorganisation designed to support the company’s next phase of growth.

Effective from 23 October, the transition will see sister company Simple Pharma divested from the group, and all marketing authorisations for Androlabs’ Testavan and Vitaros products transferred to dedicated Androlabs entities, with distribution handled by newly established Labs Distribution Srl.

The new structure follows almost five years of development at Androlabs and will allow the business to concentrate on expanding its product portfolio, developing strategic partnerships and increasing access to its medicines across markets globally.

The transition will also bring colleagues from Simple Parma and Androlabs together as one Androlabs team, creating a unified organisation as the company looks to build on the progress it has made to date.

Charlie Bryant, CEO and Co-founder of Androlabs, comments:

“Building Androlabs and Simple Pharma over the last five years has been about proving that there is a different way to build a pharmaceutical company. We have taken innovative products with category-leading potential, built a pan-European commercial model around them, and demonstrated that they can grow profitably while making a meaningful difference to patients.

“We have proved the model – now we want to build on it. Focusing the entire organisation on Androlabs, our men’s health pharma company, gives us the clarity of vision to become the recognised global leader in our niche.

“Our ambition goes beyond simply growing a pharmaceutical company. We want to play a meaningful role in improving men’s health and, ultimately, help to close the male life expectancy gap. This is an important step towards building the business capable of delivering that ambition.”

Androlabs was founded on the belief that a more focused and operationally efficient approach to pharmaceuticals could give quality medicines the attention and investment needed to reach more patients. The company has since built a global commercial operation around Testavan (testosterone replacement therapy) and Vitaros (alprostadil cream), growing both products across international markets.

The company intends to use this experience to pursue further opportunities across its portfolio and strengthen its presence in men’s health. This includes continued product development, such as the recent UK marketing authorisation for a new Testavan 4.6 mg/actuation presentation.

As part of the corporate reorganisation, The Simple Pharma Company Limited (TSPCL), has been carved out from parent companyTithonia Group Limited and acquired by Tamrisa Access, which will independently manage its own product portfolio.

Bryant concludes: “Five years in, we have built strong foundations, but we still see this as the beginning of the Androlabs journey. We have an opportunity to bring more high-quality medicines to underserved patient groups, enter new markets, and make a lasting difference to men’s health. This new chapter provides us with the chance to turn that ambition into reality.”
