Androlabs, the first global pharmaceutical company dedicated to men's health, announces a partnership with Majorelle to commercialise Testavan®, a testosterone replacement therapy indicated for hypogonadism in adult men, to healthcare professionals across France.
The agreement marks an important milestone in Androlabs' European growth strategy. With this agreement, Testavan is now present in all major European markets, further strengthening the company’s ambition to improve access to men's health treatments across the continent.
Majorelle is one of France's leading companies specialising in men's health and andrology, with an established commercial infrastructure and deep expertise supporting healthcare professionals and patients across the country. Majorelle has commercialised Vitaros®, Androlabs' alprostadil cream indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, in France for several years as part of a longstanding partnership between the two companies.
This agreement advances Androlabs' mission to address some of the most significant and overlooked challenges in men's health, combining the company's specialist focus with Majorelle's leadership position in the French market.
France is home to more than 33 million men, yet men's health conditions continue to be significantly underdiagnosed and undertreated across many therapeutic areas. Closing this healthcare gap is essential to Androlabs' wider mission of improving outcomes for men worldwide.
Commenting on the announcement, Nicolas Vennin, Co-founder and Director of Portfolio and Business Development at Androlabs, said:
"France was the last major European market where Testavan did not have a commercial presence. Our partnership with Majorelle, a recognised leader in andrology in France, marks an important milestone in our ambition to expand access to men's health treatments and provide more options for patients and healthcare professionals."
Gérard Burger, Managing Director at Majorelle, commented:
"Majorelle is excited to announce the launch of Testavan in France. Thanks to our leading positions in Urology and Men’s Health, we will be able to offer patients the first testosterone gel with a dedicated applicator, while successfully developing the Testavan brand in the long term. We are delighted to further strengthen our existing partnership with Androlabs."
The announcement builds on the existing relationship between the two organisations and reflects a shared commitment to increasing awareness, improving diagnosis rates and expanding access to evidence-based treatments for men across France.
At the centre of Androlabs' mission is addressing the persistent disparity in life expectancy between men and women. In France, men live on average 5.6 years fewer than women, highlighting the need for greater attention, investment and innovation in men's healthcare.
Partnerships with organisations that share this ambition are central to Androlabs' strategy for improving men's health outcomes and expanding access to evidence-based treatments across Europe.
Androlabs is the first global pharmaceutical company dedicated exclusively to men’s health.
Its mission is to close the male life expectancy gap and improve health outcomes for men worldwide.
Globally, men have a shorter life expectancy than women and are more likely to die prematurely from preventable causes. Many conditions affecting men remain underdiagnosed, undertreated or overlooked, as outlined in the UK Government’s 2025 men’s health strategy, Men’s Health: A Strategic Vision for England.
